Medical Affairs Manager

The position

We offer an exciting opportunity for an ambitious medical doctor to join our SLIT-tablet team in Global Medical Affairs.

Fields of responsibility

The position will be globally responsible for the pollen portfolio which includes three of our five SLIT-tablets. The pollen SLIT-tablet portfolio includes products at various stages; from launch of the recently approved Tree SLIT-tablet to life cycle management activities for the Grass SLIT-tablet. Furthermore, new launches and label expansions with pediatric indications are expected. As pollen portfolio responsible, you will work across the organization supporting all aspects of each brand; from providing strategic and medical input to clinical trials, to supporting the development of promotional materials. You will be the subject matter expert for each brand and responsible for the strategy and roll-out of a more aligned and impactful communication across the entire pollen SLIT-tablet portfolio. There will be opportunities to tailor the position over time to support other key projects within Global Marketing, e.g. diagnostic strategy and support our real-world evidence platform.

Your qualifications

You are a medical doctor preferable with a background in respiratory medicine, allergy or immunology and/or with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience from the pharmaceutical industry. You are used to working with medical experts in a highly scientific environment and create advocacy. You have an interest in creating scientific, impactful and targeted communication for many different audiences. As a person, you are a highly motivated team player, who thrive in an innovative, agile and dynamic environment. You have excellent collaboration and communication skills and are fluent in professional English. We also appreciate a good sense of humor and willingness to embrace new development opportunities. 

The department/team

Global Medical Affairs consists of a team of nine medical and science experts responsible for ensuring a sound medico-clinical basis for clinical positioning and for medical communication, as well as for driving medical education and giving medical input to marketing and reimbursement strategies. We always try to develop our competences and processes in order to the meet the needs of the patients and all stakeholders, internally as well as externally. We are driven by a high level of professionalism, integrity, an open-minded approach and contributing to an inspiring and fun working environment together with colleagues. Global Medical Affairs is part of Global Marketing. Key stakeholders include Marketing, Clinical Development, Research, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance and the affiliates.
