We are looking for a highly skilled and self-driven Senior Scientist to build and leverage our peptide display platform in the Department of Molecular Pharmacology. You will join a dedicated and engaging department consisting of 5 technicians and 7 academics. The department is central in the drug discovery process at Zealand by providing research projects at all stages with relevant in vitro data from in house assays and CROs.



In your position, you will play a key role in the integration of peptide display into our early-stage peptide discovery engine. As such, the position is highly interdisciplinary and besides working with academics and technicians in the department you will also collaborate closely with other relevant departments in Zealand Research.

As you will be the expert within your field you have a proven scientific track record and in-depth knowledge with peptide display platforms, e.g. phage display, mRNA display or similar, preferably from an industrial drug discovery setting. You have first hand experience with establishment of peptide display platforms, including library design, efficient execution of peptide display screens and subsequent data analysis including NGS analysis.
