The Shipping / Offshore / Transportation group
The group advises on a broad range of matters, including traditional maritime law, collisions, groundings, salvage, charter parties, claims for damage to or loss of goods, marine insurance and CMR, as well as all related areas of law relevant to the shipping, offshore and transportation industries: purchase and sale, financing of ships and other assets, international trade, company law, transactions including financing and labour law.
We are lawyers for The Blue Denmark, and our maritime practice dates back to the 1890s.
We have close contacts with the companies, organisations and public authorities that make Denmark a leading maritime nation. The group’s close ties to the industry enable us to provide advice based on knowledge and understanding of market developments and individual client needs.

You will have the best chance of succeeding in your job if you can say yes to the following:
- You are a qualified common law solicitor (3+ PQE).
- You are motivated, enthusiastic and want to develop through working on complex and exciting cases.
- You have experience or an interest in maritime law.
- You have a good understanding of both legal and business contexts, and you are able to grasp complex issues and provide overview.
- You have advanced English skills.
- You are a pragmatic and solution-oriented advisor.
