QEHS Manager

What does the ideal candidate bring to the table?

As our QEHS Manager, you will be reporting to our Head of Global Operations. In the role, you will work independently, proactively, and with structure – all while maintaining a pragmatic approach. Most importantly, you will understand how QEHS initiatives contribute to our business value and excel at collaborating with stakeholders to achieve our goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Elevating local initiatives to standards and procedures on a Group level.
  • Strengthening cross-group systems and procedures, implementing new policies and training in line with industry standards and regulations.
  • Developing QEHS strategies and commitments, setting KPIs, and providing insights and learnings from across the company.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to expand, monitor, and improve ISO accreditations.
  • Serving as the go-to person for QEHS-related inquiries from clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with legislative frameworks and anticipating upcoming regulations.
  • Conducting risk assessments, vendor management, audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Acting as an internal advisor across the group in tender processes and KYCs.
  • Playing a role in developing operational procedures and safety standards for the delivery of new fuels.
  • Vetting and continuously monitoring suppliers according to QEHS standards.

 

What do we expect from you?

We're looking for you, who have proven experience in QEHS management, preferably within the maritime or energy industry. If you've got 5+ years of experience and the ability to navigate the complexities of QEHS management in a dynamic environment, you could be the perfect fit. Additionally, you should have:

  • Knowledge in Risk Assessments and mitigating risk, as well as experience in conducting project-based assessments.
  • Experience developing and implementing QEHS Management systems, including policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, such as ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, or OSHA.
  • A solid understanding of the QEHS landscape and its value to the business.
